The Hags on Nags are thrilled to bring back the Pink Ribbon Ride for the Cure!

Proceeds to benefit Breast Cancer Recovery of Madison, WI.
This year’s ride will be held at Horseriders’ Campground in Palmyra, WI. With access to over 50 miles of well marked trails in the beautiful Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest, this is sure to be a Pink Ribbon Ride to remember! This new location gives attendees plenty of campsites, including electric sites, as well as a modern bath house and covered pavilion.
For those who do not wish to camp but would like to make a weekend out of the event, the Kettle Moraine Country Inn has lodging for you and your horse just a short ride down the trail! Rooms or bunkhouses are available to rent, but they are sure to go fast! Make your camping or lodging reservations soon!
The ride will include a guided trail ride, meal, raffle prizes and other fun activities such as a Poker Run and the Bra Decorating Competition.
RIDE SCHEDULE! FRI NIGHT EARLY CHECK IN FOR CAMPERS, 6-8PM AT THE PAVILLION
SATURDAY THE 24TH:
Check-in Starts 8am! – Day parking in the campground is limited & available on a first come, first serve basis. While ride sharing is recommended, reserving a campsite is the best way to ensure a parking spot. Visit our website for updates, as we are looking into additional parking options.
Trail Ride 10am-1pm – Join us for a relaxing group ride through the kettles & moraines of the State Forest, or ride on your own. With over 50 miles of trails, you can enjoy a short loop, or camp and enjoy the entire weekend! Explore the many horse friendly local establishments, or try out the obstacle course, but be back to camp in time for food & fun!
Poker Run Challenge – For those interested in a little friendly competition, we will also be holding a Poker Run. $10 a hand, with a 50/50 pot: half of the entry fees going to Breast Cancer Recovery & the rest to the riders with the best hands. Good luck!
Lunch 10am-2pm – All attendees will enjoy an afternoon meal including a main dish, side, drink and dessert! Additional à la carte items will be available for purchase, including hot coffee to get you started in the morning. So bring your appetite! Meal options will include BBQ pork, brats or broccoli and cheese soup. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dessert to share!
Raffle Drawings 2pm – A variety of raffle prize baskets will be up for grabs! An impressive selection will be on display throughout the day. Tickets will be available until the drawing begins at 2pm, so bring a little extra $$! Must be present to win.
Bra Decorating Contest – Back by popular demand, this free to enter competition never fails to be amazing, amusing & “supportive”! Create your masterpiece at home & bring it to the event for display. Votes are cast via “drop in the bucket” donations, the artist with the highest funds raised will win a prize!
