Horseriders’ Campground is located in the Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest. With direct access to over 50 miles of wooded, well marked trails and local establishments who have welcomed trail riders with hitching posts and tie stalls, the Palmyra, WI campground is one of Wisconsin’s favorite equestrian destinations. Riders can enjoy a break along their rides for refreshments, food and ice cream, and return to their comfortable campground for a hot shower at the modern bath house. Later, gather around the campfire or in the covered pavilion with old friends, or meet new ones! Campsites include picnic tables, fire pits and high line posts, and many have electric hookups. Portable corrals are allowed.
Limited day ride parking is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Proof of negative current Coggins required. As the ride is held on public trails, a state trails pass is required, as well as a parking permit per vehicle. Daily and annual permits will be available for purchase on site, or from the WI DNR.
